Geometry Controllers

Within certain files, it may be easier to control a particular node's behavior with a separate geometric controller outside the model, rather than editing the node in the Geometry window. In OpenBuildingsā„¢ GenerativeComponents, nearly every node can be associated to the property of another. As a result, the endless possibilities of geometric associations between nodes create countless scenarios for one geometric element to control the behavior of another.

Built directly into OpenBuildingsā„¢ GenerativeComponents for this purpose, there are two common means of controlling a node with sliders and law curves. Although both methods can control a node in similar ways, a slider is primarily a linear numerical controller, while a law curve is primarily a graphic control interface.
